RELIEVE PAIN ASSOCIATED WITH ATHLETE’S FOOT
Athlete's foot is a skin infection caused by fungus. Fungus thrives in dark, moist, warm environments, and it is no surprise that it is common in the shoes of athletes that are extremely active.
Fungus thrives in damp areas and it can be commonly obtained in swimming pools, showers and locker rooms. If home remedies aren’t working, we ask that you give us a call at Ankle and Foot Centers of Western New York.
Unfortunately, the fungus can spread rather easily, and we suggest that you do not walk in your bare feet in public places, wash with soap and water every day, thoroughly dry your feet and try to keep them as dry as possible during the day.
